Deals Pipeline Board — Every Deal, Every Stage, One View

EmpireVault deals pipeline kanban board showing 14 deals across stages with $155k open pipeline

Most small teams track deals in a spreadsheet until the day a $20k opportunity quietly goes stale in a forgotten row. A pipeline board fixes that by making the state of every deal visible at once — and making “move it forward” a drag, not a data-entry chore.

Mid-quarter in EmpireVault’s demo workspace, this board shows 14 deals in all, 11 of them open and worth roughly $155k spread across the pipeline, with the other three already closed-won this month. Each column is a stage, each column header shows the total value sitting in that stage, and each card carries the deal’s company, owner, and amount. When a deal changes hands or advances, you drag the card — the value totals, the company record, and the reports all update from that one gesture.

Because deals live on the same data layer as contacts, email, quotes, and tickets, the card is never a dead end. Open one and you get the company’s full history: the campaign that sourced it, the thread where terms were discussed, the quote that’s out for acceptance. Win the deal and the accepted quote can generate the contract and invoices without re-keying anything.

The board earns its keep by answering the three questions a sales conversation actually starts with: what’s moving, what’s stuck, and what’s it all worth. Stage totals make soft spots obvious — a fat “Qualification” column and a thin “Proposal” column is a prospecting problem you can see from across the room — and the closed-this-month count keeps the scoreboard honest.
