How one price compares
One price, even when one team needs more
EmpireVault isn’t a replacement for HubSpot in every case. It’s built for small and mid-sized businesses: everything you need to run sales, service and marketing, without the enterprise features that make setup long and complicated. Here is one common team, priced both ways.
The team: five people. An owner, two salespeople and two support agents.
What they need: a shared CRM and deal pipeline for everyone; a help desk where the two support agents work tickets with SLAs and a self-service knowledge base; email marketing to up to 1,000 contacts.
Billing: EmpireVault is monthly and can be cancelled at any time. HubSpot figures are its annual-commitment prices, which are its lowest.

When HubSpot is the better choice. If no one on your team needs a Professional feature, HubSpot Starter costs less per seat than EmpireVault. Its Professional and Enterprise tiers also do things we don’t, such as forecasting and conversation intelligence. If you need those, or you’re a large team with a dedicated admin, HubSpot is built for you. If you’re a small or mid-sized business that wants one product and one price, where one team’s needs don’t move you into a higher tier and a required onboarding fee, EmpireVault is.

What if I only need a few modules?
Yes. One price includes all fifteen modules. You pay for the people who use EmpireVault, not for per-feature unlocks, so turning on another module later costs nothing extra. And you can export your data anytime.

How long does setup take?
Self-serve, you can be running the same day. Built for you, it starts with a 21-day Stack Audit ($2,500). You keep the written report; unless it finds at least $6,000 a year in replaceable software spend or five hours a week of recoverable time, the fee is refunded; and if you go ahead the fee is credited in full against the build, which is quoted from what the audit found.
Is my data locked in?
Never. Every account includes a full REST API — contacts, companies, deals, tickets, notes and tasks — plus signed webhooks and data export anytime. Your data is yours, with no export fees.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans are billed per seat through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans are paid up front and run to the end of their year; cancel and they do not renew. Your data stays yours, with export available at no charge.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual billing is $390 per seat a year, which works out at $32.50 a month, two months free compared with $39 monthly. Everything else is the same: every module, no tiers, seats for the people who use it. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time; annual plans are paid up front and run to the end of their year.
EmpireVault is new. What protects me if it doesn’t work out?
The terms. Billing can be monthly, so you never have to prepay a year. You can export contacts, quotes, ticket reports and list members as CSV at any time, and the REST API covers contacts, companies, deals, tickets, notes and tasks, so nothing lives only inside EmpireVault. If you cancel, the account stays read-only for 30 days so an admin can finish exporting. EmpireVault is built and run by Selbytech, David Selby’s firm, hosted on Civo and backed up nightly.
Is EmpireVault included in a Selbytech engagement?

What happens when the engagement ends?
You continue on a Care Plan or a standard subscription at $39 per seat per month, price locked for twelve months. Your configuration and data carry over with no interruption. If you stop, you get a full export and thirty days of read-only access.
Can I move from an engagement to self-serve?
Yes, that is the default path. Every user your team added during the engagement is included; seats are counted once, at the handoff review sixty days before the end, and billed from the day the engagement ends.
